Blessing of the Fleet!

The Blessing of the Fleet, a custom initiated centuries ago by Viking sailors, will be held on Saturday April 21st at 11:00 a.m. on the back deck of the club. The brief interfaith service will be conducted by longtime member Rev. Dr. George Fitzgerald, with his wife Susan assisting in the Viking traditional blessing with a rosemary bough. If you'd like your boat(s) to receive a blessing, there is a sign-up sheet on the back deck "cube" for the owner's name, boat name and slip number.
​Following the blessings, BBQ hamburgers, salad and dessert will be available for $5.00 per person.
