Below is a list of formal application procedures. We look forward to considering you as our newest Aeolian Yacht Club member!

Application Procedures
The following are steps that the Applicant(s) will take to be accepted for membership:
Berthing requests must be accompanied by evidence that boat is seaworthy, moves under its own power and is in good shape. Evidence of current registration, insurance and photograph will be required prior to being considered for a berth. Prior to acceptance a visual inspection will take place. (No derelict boats accepted).
The vessel owner must keep berth assigned in good repair. Application for Live Aboard status will not be considered until the member(s) have completed one (1) year of active membership*. See Live aboard Rules for specific rules. There is a maximum of six (6) Live Aboards in the harbor.
Procedures for Application of membership will be adhered to and no special requests will be accepted. *(Or as deemed by current board of directors)

Application Procedures
The following are steps that the Applicant(s) will take to be accepted for membership:
- Application completely filled out with information requested. Please find application(s) here
- Application may be dropped into Membership Box (located on back porch), emailed it to our office manager at [email protected] or given to the Office Manager, the office is located on the second floor.
- Applicant(s) will meet with the Membership Committee.
- After meeting with the Membership Committee, your application will be posted on the AYC Bulletin Board (located on the back porch) by the first of the following month, and will be announced in the AYC newsletter, the Balloon Jib that month.
- If there are no objections to your application for membership within TEN days of the publication of the newsletter, your name will be presented to the Board of Directors at the next Board meeting for acceptance or rejection.
- Upon approval of the request for membership by the Board of Directors, you will be accepted into membership. At that time you will be given your new Membership Packet which includes your key and burgee (club flag).
